Institutional strengthening of the central government institutions responsible for implementing the Multipurpose Cadastre in Colombia, in particular DNP, IGAC, ANT and SNR. This will be achieved by providing operational support to loan CO-L1164, "Program for the Adoption and Implementation of a Rural-Urban Multipurpose Cadastre", which is in the process of being reformulated and extended and has the objective of improving land management in Colombia by implementing a multipurpose cadastral system that includes institutional and technological strengthening of the responsible agencies, which will increase the legal certainty of land tenure, strengthen fiscal management, and ensure more effective land-use planning.
